Sunday Morning Drive 2026

Description

Do you enjoy driving your sporty classic car built before 1975 or a selected sporty youngtimer (see approved youngtimers) regularly? Do you appreciate the roads of the Swiss and French Jura or want to explore them better with fellow classic car enthusiasts? If so, the "Sunday Morning Drive" is perfect for you! This event is completely relaxed, with no timing, no complicated rules, and it's free with no registration required. Plus, if you’d like, you can support a good cause (donation box for the "Denk an mich" foundation). The total distance covered is 2 x 70 - 90 kilometers, including a 45-minute coffee break. The drives take place on the first Sunday morning of April, May, June (no events in July/August), September, and October, weather permitting. We meet at the Autogrill rest area in Pieterlen (2542) starting from 8:15 AM, with the drive kicking off at 9:00 AM and concluding around 12:30/1:00 PM in the starting region. You have the option to leave at your convenience without needing to return to the starting point (usually the Pieterlen rest area). P.S.: The Sunday Morning Drive on June 7th will be a special day event, featuring lunch, with a return around 5:00 PM.
